What this site is (and isn't)

Pawculations provides free calculators, charts, and articles about pets, for education and curiosity. Nothing on this site is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for a veterinarian who can actually see your animal. Results are estimates built on published formulas; individual animals vary, sometimes a lot. For anything involving your pet's health, and always in an emergency, contact a veterinarian.

Acceptable use

Use the site like a decent human: don't attack it, scrape it into oblivion, misrepresent our results, or strip our content of its caveats and republish it as certainty.

Our content

The content, design, and code of this site belong to Pawculations. You're welcome to quote and cite our pages with a link back. You may embed our calculators on your own site using the embed snippet we provide, unmodified and with the attribution intact; we may ask for an embed to be removed and you agree to comply.

No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawculations is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the site or reliance on its estimates. The estimates inform decisions; they don't make them for you, and decisions about a pet's health belong with you and your veterinarian.

We link to sources and other sites we consider useful. They have their own terms and privacy practices, and we're not responsible for them.

Changes
